The brief was to replace the client's existing pool with a Mediterranean-inspired pool and landscape that would satisfy the family’s love of swimming and outdoor entertaining. The result is an award-winning pool that incorporates a granite swim-up bar, fully-equipped cabana kitchen and travertine slab steps, all of which have been designed with conscious restraint to ensure uninterrupted views of the waterfront.

The demolition of the larger existing pool created a significant void in the yard, and the concrete shell for the new pool was therefore designed and engineered as a freestanding structure.
